Chelm | return
Chelm became the commercial center of the world in MAY25. It also gained significant industry during that time, causing housing prices to skyrocket there. It is known for the Chelm Work Shuttle, which transports workers to nearby cities. Radical Park is located in Chelm and is the most active venue for sports in the game. It is the first city to have playhouses since the City Era and the first city to ever have a plastic playhouse.
Crime
During its first economic explosion in early MAY25, theft became a big problem in the city. The chief of Kelm tripled the police force there at the expense of 20 Kelm dinars but still initially failed to stop significant loss of cash to robbers. Crime has decreased since the populations of nearby cities as well as visitors have gained in wealth, but theft is still a moderate threat to its residents. Spaghettiland and Verdenian vagrants have been responsible for most of the crime in the city.
