Xelm, originally known as New Kelm, was the first capital of the Chiefdom of Kelm (12MAY23-27DEC24) and the second capital of the Republic of Kelm in 1996. On 11MAY23, the city was resettled and known as both Kelm and New Kelm. During the Regenesis Sub Era, Xelm had many properties and significant industrial output. Since then, activity has mostly declined. In JUN25, efforts began to again increase economic activity. However, this also attracted petty criminal migrants from Verdenia. There are plans to eventually increase the amount of buildings in the city. The ultimate goal is to manifest the glory of Kelm of Jonesland to Xelm. There are also plans to establish a museum in the city.
